Top young Russian players Vladislav Artemiev (2676/2715), Ivan Bukavshin(2657/2643), junior world champion in 2015, Mikhail Antipov (2569/2623) and Grigoriy Oparin (2563/2584).

The match tournament held in two disciplines: classical (December 20-23), rapid chess (24-25 December). The tournament is held on sheveningenskoy system in two rounds. Each player will play with one player from the other team two games, one in classical chess, the second (with a change of color figures) - in rapid.

Classic.

Time control: 120 minutes for 40 moves + 60 minutes for the next 20 moves + 15 minutes until the end of the game with 30 seconds for each move starting from the 61st move. Players may not agree to a draw before the 40th move inclusive. For winning player gets 2 points; for a draw - 1 point; for a loss - 0 points.

Start: 20, 21, 22 and 23 December at 15.00 Moscow time.

Rapid.

Time control: 15 minutes before the end of the game with 10 seconds for each move starting from the first. For winning player gets 1 point; for a draw - 0.5 points; for a loss - 0 points.

Start: 24 and 25 December at 15.00, 16.15, 17.30 and 18.45 Moscow time.
