Altibox Norway Chess 2019

Altibox Norway Chess is a 10-player round-robin featuring Magnus Carlsen and most of the top 10 players. It is held from 3-15 June in the Clarion Energy Hotel and Stavanger Concert Hall in Stavanger. 

A win is worth 2 points. In case of a draw, which gives the players half a point, an Armageddon game follows right after the game. It is worth a point. In case of a tie for first at the end of the tournament a playoff will be played among all tied players.

Classical Time Control : 120 minutes and 10 seconds per move after move 40.

Armageddon Time Control : 10 minutes for white and 7 for black with an increment of 3 seconds per move, starting from move 61.
