
Pro Chess League Finals 2020
Sep 25, 2020 – Sep 27, 2020The games of the PRO Chess League Finals will be played in Live Chess.
The PRO Chess League finals are the culmination of the fourth season that took off on January 6, 2020, followed by the playoffs that ran in March. The final four teams will all bring top grandmasters to fight for a $40,000 total prize fund, with $20,000 going to the winning team.
The action will start on Friday, September 25 at 7:45 a.m. Pacific time / 16:45 Central Europe with the match between the Saint Louis Arch Bishops and the China Pandas, followed by the Canada Chessbrahs against the Armenia Eagles at 10:30 a.m. Pacific time / 19:30 Central Europe.
The two losing teams will then face each other on Saturday, Sept. 26, for their fight for third place, while the big final is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27.
Like in the regular season, the time control for all games will be 10 minutes plus a two-second increment. Every player on a team will play every player on the other team for a total of 16 games.
