TePe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament 2021

The TePe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament takes place April 24-30, 2021 in Malmo, Sweden. It is organized by the Limhamn Chess Club and sponsored by Sigeman & Co and Tepe.

The tournament has a number of big stars, most notably the 12th world champion Anatoly Karpov who will be playing his first over-the-board tournament in over a decade.

The format is an eight-player, single round-robin. The time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves and then 15 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one. Draw offers before Black’s 30th move are not allowed.
